Espagon or European Society of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Pediatric Nutrition

ESPGHAN (European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition) is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to improving children's health, with a particular focus on the gastrointestinal system, liver, and nutritional status. It aims to advance scientific knowledge and disseminate evidence-based information. The society holds an annual meeting in a different host country, where numerous companies, including Nutricia, participate with their own exhibition booths.

The 56th Annual Meeting of this event took place this year from May 15 to 18 in Milan, bringing together over 5,600 participants from 104 countries and delivering an unforgettable educational experience.

Highlights of the Congress included:

  • A 30% increase in attendance compared to the previous year, reflecting the growing enthusiasm and commitment of professionals to advance pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.

  • Nutricia showcased its latest innovations at a booth located in a prime area of the conference hall, where participants had the opportunity to interact with Nutricia experts and learn more about cutting-edge products.

  • For the first time, Nutricia hosted a "Product Theatre" experience, which drew a large audience of visitors and generated significant interest.

  • Nutricia’s Satellite Symposium was a major success. It featured a main session and several breakout rooms dedicated to company-specific programs, where renowned experts shared pioneering research, clinical insights, and practical approaches.
